This page explains whether anyone pays or influences what is published on Nose & Beyond, and how that would be handled in future.

Where we stand today

• Nose & Beyond is an independent guide.
• We do not receive payment, commission or any other compensation from any clinic, surgeon or medical agency.
• We do not charge referral fees, and we do not refer or send readers to any clinic or doctor.
• No clinic or doctor has paid for anything published on this site.
• We do not run advertising at the moment.

If advertising is added

In future the site may carry display advertising, for example through Google AdSense. If that happens:

• Ads will be clearly separate from guides, and we will update this page and the privacy and cookies page before they appear.
• Advertisers will not choose, edit or approve guides. Ads do not change our editorial decisions.
• Ad networks choose which ads you see. A displayed ad is not an endorsement or a recommendation by us.

If sponsored content is added

If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be labelled "Sponsored" in a visible way on the page itself, and will not be presented as an independent guide. We do not currently publish any, and we will not publish sponsored content that recommends a specific clinic or surgeon without that label and an explanation of the relationship.

Changes
