Editorial policy
This page explains how guides on Nose & Beyond are researched, written, reviewed, updated and corrected, and what keeps the site independent.
What we publish
Guides about planning facial aesthetic procedures in Türkiye: process, travel, costs, choosing a clinic or surgeon, and how to evaluate claims. We do not publish medical advice, treatment recommendations or individual "this is right for you" opinions. Where a guide touches on medical topics, it describes what surgeons and professional bodies commonly say and tells you to ask your own surgeon.
How we choose sources
- We prefer peer-reviewed reviews, professional societies (for example ASPS, ISAPS, BAAPS and AAFPRS) and official health bodies (for example the NHS, the CDC and Türkiye's Ministry of Health).
- We open and read a source before citing it. If we cannot verify a figure or a claim, we leave it out or say that it is unverified.
- Prices, durations and statistics are given as ranges with their source and date, not as promises. Treat them as general orientation, not a quote.
- We do not make accusations about named countries, companies or people without a source.
- Marketing material from clinics, agencies or influencers is not treated as evidence.
How guides are written
Guides are written in plain English, with a clear structure and a "published" and "updated" date. We avoid superlatives such as "best" or "cheapest", guarantees, and fear-based wording.
Use of AI tools
We use AI tools (large language models) to help with research and with first drafts. They are tools, not authors and not sources: we do not cite an AI tool as evidence for any claim. Every guide is checked and edited by a human editor before it is published, including its sources, figures and wording. AI-assisted drafting can still introduce errors, which is why we ask readers to report them (see below). Cover images on this site are AI-generated illustrations, not photographs of real patients or real results.
Updates
Each guide shows its original publication date and the date of its last update. We change the "updated" date only when we have actually reviewed or changed the content. Costs, travel rules and regulations change, so older guides are reviewed from time to time, and anything we can no longer support is revised or removed.
Corrections
If you find a factual error, a broken source or a statement that seems misleading, please tell us by email at hello@noseaesthetic.com (see the contact page), with the page address and what you think is wrong. We review each report, correct the guide if the report is right, and update the "updated" date. For a significant correction, we add a short note to the guide saying what changed.
Independence
No clinic, surgeon or agency pays for coverage, and we do not refer readers to any clinic or doctor. Editorial decisions are not influenced by advertisers or sponsors. If advertising or clearly labelled sponsored content is ever added, it will be kept separate from editorial content and described on our disclosure page. Read more about who we are on the about page, and see the medical disclaimer for the limits of this site's content.
