The surgery fee is the number clinics lead with, but from Sydney it is only part of the bill. This page prices the whole trip to Istanbul: the surgery range, a return flight, hotel nights, food, local transport and the airport transfers. Of the five departure cities we price, Sydney has the most expensive typical fare to Istanbul.

Flights are the line that changes most between pages. The KAYAK range for Sydney to Istanbul is A$1,392–A$1,939, with A$1,656 as the typical fare. For a rhinoplasty that fare is about 14% of the typical total.

The clock and the calendar

Turkey stays on UTC+3 all year and does not change its clocks. Sydney is seven hours ahead of Istanbul in winter and eight in summer, so allow time to adjust after landing.

What the official guidance says

The checks in the NHS guidance on cosmetic surgery abroad apply wherever you live: check how clinics are regulated, have two consultations with the surgeon who will operate, and ask who provides follow-up. Ask your insurer in writing what it covers.

Coming home

Of the five departures priced on this site, Sydney carries the largest flight line, and it is a long trip home with a fresh surgical site. Ask your surgeon how that affects the date you can fly, and carry your operative notes.

Method and sources

Everything is converted with one fixed table of rates, so the figures do not move from day to day. Totals are rounded to the nearest 10. This page is general planning information, not medical advice, and it does not recommend a clinic or a surgeon.
