Cosmetic surgery in Turkey from Germany: what the trip costs

What each of fourteen procedures adds up to from Frankfurt, with the return flight, an Istanbul hotel, food and transfers, all in euros.

Prices reviewed October 2026 · Exchange rates: Central Bank of Türkiye, 9 October 2026

The surgery fee is the number clinics lead with, but from Frankfurt it is only part of the bill. This page prices the whole trip to Istanbul: the surgery range, a return flight, hotel nights, food, local transport and the airport transfers. Of the five departure cities we price, Frankfurt has the second cheapest typical fare to Istanbul.

Flights are the line that changes most between pages. The KAYAK range for Frankfurt to Istanbul is €213–€363, with €279 as the typical fare. For a rhinoplasty that fare is about 4% of the typical total.

These totals are for one traveller. A companion adds a second flight and meals; the calculator handles that. The totals assume one room in Istanbul. For other Turkish cities, see the Antalya, Izmir and Ankara pages, or the Istanbul page for a night-by-night breakdown.

The clock and the calendar

Turkey stays on UTC+3 all year and does not change its clocks. Istanbul is two hours ahead of Frankfurt in winter and one hour ahead in summer.

What the official guidance says

The checks in the NHS guidance on cosmetic surgery abroad are not specific to Britain: find out how clinics are regulated, meet the operating surgeon twice before you decide, and ask what happens if something goes wrong after you leave. Ask your own health and travel insurers in writing what they will and will not cover.

Coming home

Everything on this page is already in euros, so the totals compare directly with a quote from a clinic in Germany. Leave out any item the German quote does not cover, such as the hotel, before you compare.

Method and sources

Everything is converted with one fixed table of rates, so the figures do not move from day to day. Totals are rounded to the nearest 10. This page is general planning information, not medical advice, and it does not recommend a clinic or a surgeon.
