This is a quarterly index of what a facial surgery trip to Turkey costs, kept on one page so the same numbers can be compared from one edition to the next. It covers the surgery fee, the nights to plan, hotels in four cities, flights from five regions and the total for 14 procedures. Every figure is in euros, converted at one dated exchange rate, and every line says where it comes from.

Key takeaways

  • A nose job trip from London to Istanbul adds up to about €5,270 to €7,970, with about €6,600 as a typical total: surgery €4,000 to €6,500 plus flights, eight nights and transfers.
  • Across 14 facial procedures and five departure regions, totals in Istanbul run from about €2,600 (cheek surgery from London) to about €12,600 (facelift from Sydney).
  • From London, the surgery fee is 62% to 86% of the typical total depending on the procedure; hotel, food and transfers are 10% to 32%, and the flight 2% to 7%.
  • Hotel, food and flight figures are KAYAK and Numbeo averages from October 2026; the surgery ranges are an editorial estimate, not quotes.

Winter 2026 is the first edition. Prices were reviewed in October 2026 and the exchange rates are from 9 October 2026. For a total built around your own procedure, city and departure airport, use the trip budget calculator.

What does the surgery itself cost in Turkey?

The fee below is the surgeon’s price for the operation. It leaves out flights, hotel, food and transfers. It is our editorial estimate from quotes seen in the market, October 2026, and not a quote. Where the range is a single figure, the market quotes one price.

The nights column is a planning number for the budget, not a medical rule. The NHS advises against flying for 7 to 10 days after facial cosmetic procedures, and your surgeon sets the date you can fly. The how long to stay page gives the dates published sources mention for each procedure.

What do hotels and daily costs run to in each city?

Hotel prices are KAYAK’s four-star average for each city (for İzmir, KAYAK’s city-wide average). The seasonal range is the lowest and highest monthly average KAYAK shows (for İzmir, a two-week average). Food and local transport come from Numbeo: the average daily food spend and two short taxi rides a day. One airport transfer in each direction is added once to the total, not per night.

City Hotel per night, average Hotel, seasonal range Food and local transport per day Per night in total
Istanbul €87 €29–€236 €46 €133
Antalya €135 €48–€201 €37 €173
İzmir €96 €91–€128 €41 €137
Ankara €72 €35–€99 €38 €110

Hotel averages move with the season and day to day, so the range matters more than the single figure. The city pages show how each number was measured: Istanbul, Antalya, İzmir and Ankara.

How much are flights from the UK, Germany, the US, the UAE and Australia?

Two travellers with suitcases walk through the arrivals hall of Istanbul Airport past waiting drivers.

Flight figures are KAYAK’s route averages for a round trip to Istanbul: the average of the lowest round-trip fares found each month over the previous 12 months. They sit near the cheap end of what a booking costs, so fares for a specific date, a checked bag or a flexible ticket can be higher. Fares in the table are rounded to the nearest €10.

Departing from Typical round trip Range
UK (London) €220 €140–€330
Western Europe (Frankfurt) €280 €210–€360
US East Coast (New York) €840 €680–€1,090
Gulf (Dubai) €470 €340–€640
Australia (Sydney) €1,030 €870–€1,210

Each departure region also has its own page with the full trip total in local currency: from the UK, from Germany, from the USA, from the UAE and from Australia.

What does the whole trip add up to?

The total is the surgery range, the flight range, hotel, food and local transport for the planning nights, and two airport transfers. It assumes one traveler in one room in Istanbul and leaves out insurance, a companion, extra nights and anything outside the quote. Ranges are rounded to the nearest €10.

As a worked example, a rhinoplasty from London to Istanbul has a typical total of about €6,600: €5,250 for surgery (the middle of €4,000 to €6,500), €220 for the flight, and €1,130 for eight nights and two transfers.

The city changes the stay line more than the surgery line. With the same fee and flight, the same rhinoplasty from London comes to:

City Total, low to high Typical total
Istanbul €5,270–€7,970 €6,600
Antalya €5,550–€8,250 €6,880
İzmir €5,430–€8,060 €6,750
Ankara €5,110–€7,860 €6,470

The surgery fee is held the same in every city, and flights are those from London to each city. A different fee in another city would move these totals one for one.

How is the index built?

Each line has one source and one date, and the same method is used every quarter so editions can be compared.

  • Surgery fee: editorial estimate from quotes seen in the market, October 2026, surgery only, not a quote. It is not a published price list.
  • Nights to plan: editorial planning numbers by procedure, October 2026, set against the NHS advice not to fly for 7 to 10 days after facial cosmetic procedures. They are defaults for budgeting, not medical advice.
  • Hotels: KAYAK four-star average hotel price per city (İzmir: city-wide average), October 2026, with the seasonal range KAYAK shows.
  • Food and local transport: Numbeo, October 2026. Local transport assumes two short taxi rides a day.
  • Airport transfer: Numbeo taxi fares and the Rome2Rio distance from the airport to the city center, October 2026, counted once each way.
  • Flights: KAYAK route averages, October 2026, in the currency KAYAK shows for each route.
  • Currency: every amount is converted to euros at the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye selling rates of 9 October 2026 (bulletin 2026/191).
  • Total: surgery + flight + (hotel + food + local transport) × nights + two transfers. One traveler, one room, no insurance.
